Q: Is the stone chip on my windshield repairable?
A: Generally, if the damaged area is under the size of a quarter, we can repair it. Please give us a call and one of our customer service representatives can walk you through our windshield repair process to determine how to best proceed. Call 1-888-242-7084.
Q: Will I still see the chip after the repair process is complete?
A: Once the repair process is complete, you will still see a blemish. The repair process will not make the damaged area disappear, but depending on the contamination in the break cosmetically it should improve. Although it rarely happens, the break could split during or after the repair process. If this occurs we will credit the cost of the repair, to the payee, towards a replacement performed by Omni.
Q: Will my insurance company cover my windshield replacement?
A: Depending on your comprehensive coverage and deductible, the glass replacement may or may not be covered. We can take care of all the paperwork and contact your insurance agent to verify coverage.
Q: Do you warranty your work?
A: Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty towards any defects in the products or workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle.
Q: Do you offer mobile service?
A: Yes, we offer mobile service to your home or work. We also have heated facilities for you to bring your vehicle if the weather is inclement and you do not have shelter.
Q: How long does the repair/replacement process take?
A: Stone chip repairs generally take 30 minutes or less. Full glass replacement typically takes 60 minutes or less.
Q: Can I drive my vehicle once the repair/replacement is complete?
A: Once a stone chip repair is complete you may drive your vehicle immediately. Full glass replacements require the vehicle not to be driven for one hour upon the completion of the work. For your safety we use state of the art adhesives that allow a one hour safe drive away time.
Q: Do I need shelter for my vehicle to be worked on?
A: If the weather is inclement we will need shelter in order to guarantee proper adhesion and to protect the electronics in your vehicle. If you do not have shelter we have heated facilities where we may service your vehicle.
