INNOVATIVE NEW SURFACE POLISHING TECHNOLOGY

New Keralite Select was developed using our patent-pending surface polishing technology. This results in a float-like surface quality without the orange peel effect common to standard fire-rated glass ceramics. Objects viewed through new Keralite Select appear distinct and sharp.

TRUE COLOR

While all glass ceramic has an inherent tint, new Keralite Select combines oursurface polishing technology with advanced composition that results in true color viewing. In fact, with a color-rendering index of 97.1 out of 100, it has the highest R96a value for glass ceramics. The result is the most accurate color viewing glass ceramic in its class.

THE LOWEST HAZE VALUE

The haze value for Keralite Select is just 0.5%. That’s lower than any other glass ceramic or like product, and so low that it cannot be perceived by the naked eye. Keralite Select tests well against float glass, with images that appear brilliant and sharp, and the least cloudy appearance of any glass ceramics.

HIGH VLT, LOW UV

Keralite Select has high Visible Light Transmission (VLT) and low UV transmission,which helps with LEED certification requirements. The clarity of the glass transmits more natural daylight, improving the comfort level for buildingoccupants and protecting furnishings from premature fading.
