OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN – Omni Glass & Paint, Inc. is pleased to announce it will be part of improvements taking place at New Holstein Elementary School.
Phase 1 of the project includes replacing the windows. Omni will be replacing the existing single glazed windows with new thermally broken aluminum windows with low E insulated glass.
Thermally broken refers to how the window is constructed. More precisely, it is manufacturing the aluminum frame window with a barrier in between the inside and outside window frames that will prevent the conductive thermal energy loss. Low-E means low emissivity, or more precisely, low thermal emissivity. Low-E windows are energy efficient because any material that reflects, absorbs, and emits radiant energy is going to save energy.
The project will begin on June 6, 2016 and will finish in early August of 2016.
